The two expanded sections of Pune Metro lines will be inaugurated on August 1, 2023. Media reports suggest that the service is likely to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The new routes will be made open for public use on the same day-a few hours after its inauguration.

Garware college to Ruby Hall Clinic
The 4.7 km stretch has seven stations namely Garware College, Deccan Gymkhana, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Udyan, Pune Municipal Corporation(PMC), Civil Court, Mangalwar Peth, Pune Railway Station and Ruby Hall Clinic.

Pimpri Chinchwad to Shivajinagar Court
The new stretch is 6.9 km long. There are four stations in this stretch- Phugewadi, Dapodi, Bopodi, Shivaji Nagar and Civil Court.
Pune Metro new routes: Fare
While the minimum ticket fare on the Pune Metro is Rs 10, the maximum fare on the route is Rs 35. People will be given around 30% discount during weekends and students will also be given close to 30% discount to travel on the Pune Metro.
Pune Metro: Timings
- The Pune Metro will operate from 7 AM to 10 PM.
- The distance between Vanaj and Ruby Hall will be covered in less than 25 minutes.
- The distance between Pimpri Chinchwad to Shivajinagar Court will be completed in around the same time- 25 minutes.
- The Pune Metro will stop for a minute at each station.
- Frequency of the Pune Metro on these two lines will be 10 minutes.
