According to a Navbharattimes report, around 115 people completed the application process with 10 minutes of the opening of the registration process on May 22, 2023. Also, six people had paid the earnest money deposit within seconds of the link opening.

The registration and online application starts on May 22, 2023. The last date to pay the earnest money deposit (EMD) is June 26, 2023. The Mhada lottery 2023 Mumbai lucky draw will be held on July 18, 2023 at Rangsharda Hall, Bandra.
The housing Mhada units under the Mhada lottery Mumbai 2023 are available with carpet areas varying between 204 sqft to 1,531 sqft.
The 204 sqft unit is priced at Rs 24.71 lakh available at Chandivali and the 1,531 sqft unit is priced at Rs 7.57 crore and is located at Cresent Tower, Tardeo, South Mumbai. This is the most expensive housing unit under Mhada lottery 2023 Mumbai. The unit comes with amenities including swimming pool, club, gym, parks, car parking etc.

Of the 4,083 units, 2,788 tenements will be allotted to the economically weaker section (EWS), 1,022 for low income group (LIG), 132 for mid income group (MIG) and 39 for high income group (HIG). Around 102 units are scattered across groups.
Note that Mhada has also units reserved for MPs and MLAs in the EWS and LIG category although their income brackets are more than the specifications mentioned by Mhada. According to a HT report, 75 flats are reserved under EWS and LIG category and three each in MIG and HIG category, under the old rules formed by Mhada. A recommendation to remove this rule has been sent by Mhada to the government and can be implemented only when the state government approves it.

Economic Weaker Section (EWS): Of the 2,788 units allotted, 1,947 units will be available under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) at Pahadi Goregaon. The cost of a unit at PMAY Pahadi Goregaon is Rs 3,344,000 after the deduction of Rs 2.5 lakh PMAY subsidy. Antop Hill will offer 417 units, and 424 units are available at Kannamwar Nagar, Vikhroli.
Low Income Group (LIG): Of the 1,022 units, 736 will be available at Goregaon, and the remaining 286 will be available at Dadar, Saket Society (Goregaon), Gaikwad Nagar (Malad), Patriarchal, Old Magathane (Borivali), Charkop, Kannamwar Nagar, Vikrant Society (Vikhroli) and Gavanpad.
Middle Income Group (MIG): The MHADA lottery Mumbai 2023 MIG scheme includes 132 units that will be distributed across Dadar, Tilak Nagar (Chembur), Sahkar Nagar (Chembur) and Kandivali.
High Income Group (HIG): The HIG segment will offer 39 houses distributed across Tardeo, Lower Parel, Sion, Shimpoli and Tunga Powai.
