Reasons why PM Kisan installment did not reach your account
Owing to the following errors, you might have failed to get the 11th installment of your PM Kisan money:

PM Kisan e-kyc
Farmers who have not completed their PM Kisan e KYC have not be able to get 12th installment of the PM Kisan subsidy in their accounts. Farmers can complete their Aadhaar-based eKYC online. They can also visit the nearest CSC centers for biometric authentication of PM Kisan eKYC.
How to complete PM Kisan e KYC online?
Step 1: Go to the official PM Kisan website and you will find the ‘e-KYC’ option under the ‘Farmers Corner’, towards the right side of the page.
Step 2: On the next page, you will be asked to provide your Aadhaar number. Enter your Aadhaar number and click on the ‘Search’ option.
Step 3: You will now receive a four-digit OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter this on the next page and click on ‘Submit OTP’ option.
With this, your PM Kisan e KYC will be complete.
Note: In case the information provided by you is not valid, the e KYC will not be complete. Those who have already completed their PM Kisan e KYC will get a message that eKYC is already done.
PM Kisan registration
Step 1: Farmers can register for the benefits of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme on the official website. Select the ‘New Farmer Registration’ option under ‘Farmers Corner’.
Step 2: Input all the details in the PM Kisan registration form and click on ‘Send OTP’. Enter the OTP for verification and you will be registered on the PM Kisan portal.

Funded completely by the central government, the PM Kisan scheme became operational on December 1, 2018. Under the scheme, an income support of Rs 6,000 per year is provided to all land-holding farmer families. A family gets three equal installments of Rs 2,000 between April-July, August-November and December-March.
The money is directly credited in the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. Under the PM Kisan scheme, a family consists of the husband, the wife and their minor children. State governments and UT administrations are responsible for identifying families that are eligible for support under the PM Kisan scheme.

PM Kisan: Objective

PM Kisan scheme eligibility
When the PM Kisan scheme was officially launched on February 24, 2019 (although it had been operational since December 2018), its benefits were offered only to farmers’ families with combined landholding of up to 2 hectares. The scheme was later revised w.e.f. June 1, 2019 and extended to all farmer families, irrespective of the size of their landholdings. Thus, all landholding farmers’ families that have cultivable landholding in their names, are eligible to receive benefits under the scheme.
However, the following farmers are not eligible for benefits under the PM Kisan scheme:
a) All institutional land holders
b) Farmer families where one or more of its members belong to the following categories:

- Present / former ministers/state ministers and present / former members of the Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, or state legislative assemblies or state or legislative councils, present / former mayors of municipal corporations and present / former chairpersons of district panchayats.
- Former and present holders of constitutional posts.
- All serving or retired officers and employees of central/state government ministries/offices/departments and its field units under central or state PSEs and attached offices/autonomous institutions under government as well as regular employees of local bodies (excluding multi-tasking staff/Class-lV/Group-D employees).
- All persons who paid income tax in the last assessment year.
- All retired pensioners
- Professionals like engineers, doctors, lawyers, chartered accountants and architects.
Information farmers have to submit on PM Kisan portal for receiving benefits
Farmers have to furnish the following information/documents, for enrollment under PM Kisan Scheme:

How to check if your name is included in the PM Kisan beneficiary list?
The beneficiary lists are displayed at panchayats. States/UTs also notify the sanction of benefit to the beneficiary through system-generated SMS. You can also ascertain your status on the PM Kisan portal.
Procedure for release of installments to beneficiaries
- Eligible farmers can apply for benefits on www. pmkisan.gov with the help of village patwaris, revenue officials or other designated officers/agencies.
- State-appointed nodal officers at the block or district-level process the data and transfer them to state nodal officers who authenticate the data and upload them in batches on the portal.
- The data goes through multi-level verification by the National Informatics Centre, the Public Finance Management System (PFMS) and banks.
- Based on the verified data, state nodal officers sign the request for transfer of funds and the total amount of funds to be transferred for that batch and upload it on the portal.
- Based on the request for transfer, the PFMS issues a Fund Transfer Order (FTO).
- The Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare issues the sanction order, based on the amount mentioned in the FTO.
- The amount is transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries and the transaction is managed and monitored by the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI).
What to do if your name is not in the PM Kisan beneficiary list?
Farmer families, whose names are not included in the list of beneficiaries, can approach the district-level grievance redressal monitoring committee for inclusion of their names. They can also visit the PM Kisan web portal and use one of the following options to get themselves included in the list:
New Farmer’s Registration: Farmers can submit their details online. The online form has mandatory fields and eligibility self-declaration. Once the form is filled and submitted, the same is forwarded by an automated process to the state nodal officer (SNO) for verification. The SNO verifies the details and uploads the verified data on the PM Kisan portal. This data is processed through an established system for payment.
Edit Aadhaar Details: Farmers can edit their name as mentioned in the Aadhaar card. The edited name gets updated after authentication through the system.
Beneficiary Status: By quoting their Aadhaar number, bank account number or the registered mobile number, beneficiaries can ascertain the status of their installments.
PM Kisan list 2022
On May 31, 2022, prime minister Narendra Modi released the 11th installment of the monetary benefit offered to farmers in India under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. Over Rs 21,000 crores has been transferred to more than 10 crore farmer families under the 11th installment of the PM Kisan scheme. Earlier, on January 1, 2022, the PM released the 10th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi or PM Kisan scheme. In this installment of the PM Kisan scheme, funds of over Rs 20,000 crores were distributed among more than 10 crore beneficiaries.
